Legacy Arts Society Student Showcase Event 5.7.16:
A special thank you to all of the Students and their Directors who worked extra hard near year’s end to put on a program for the Legacy Arts Society. Our audience thoroughly enjoyed the variety of groups who performed and the extremely dedicated and talented students. The program featured the following groups from Skyline High: A Trumpet Ensemble, A Flute Solo, and Prose Performance; and the following groups from Pratt High: A Clarinet Ensemble, Duet Acting, and the Pratt High Singers. We are very grateful for the dedication and professionalism from local students and directors to put on such a special program especially at their busy end of year time! A special thank you to Directors Rose Beilman Shoup, Peter Weinert, Bob Lee, Anita DeWeese, and Brandon Wade. Thank you to Steven Novotny for help with staging as well!
Thank you to the Filley Art Museum board members and LAS committee members who donated the wine/beer for the evening: Julie Cannata, Diane Ladenburger, Kay Knight, Marie Hanson, Lu Sherer, Rose Ann Lunt, Debbie Estes, Dr. Amy Clarkson, Rick Gerber, Irene Shumway, Larry Kahmeyer, Bill Skaggs, Darrell Stroda, Tammy Poland, Dick Bixler, and Dr. Michael Westerhaus.
